Could you use some ideas on how to create your own sun or shade garden or how to reinvigorate an existing garden? Would you like to acquire gardener-grown plants at bargain prices? Then join us for our 2022 garden tour and plant sale!

"Pathways and Blooms – A South Windsor Garden Tour & Plant Sale" will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 4 PM (rain or shine). The event is presented by the Down to Earth Garden Club and Wood Memorial Library & Museum. The tour will feature 7 beautiful gardens, including two on historic Main Street. Each garden features its own unique design and character reflecting the natural terrain of the landscape as well as the interests and creativity of the garden owners. Additionally, Nowashe Village, Wood's indigenous living museum, will be open for tours. Home-grown perennials from members’ own gardens will be on sale on the grounds of Wood Memorial Library on Main Street.

Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance or $25 on the day of the tour. Day of tour tickets are available at Wood Memorial Library, Garden Sales, Garden Barn & Ellington Agway

Tickets purchased in advance can be picked up at Wood Memorial Library

 with your receipt.

Wood Memorial Library will also be the site of our craft sale featuring our garden notecards and garden themed totes. 

Our Teacup Raffle features themed baskets with items and gift cards donated from local area business. We also have nursery donations including hanging baskets, planters, and plants

Lunch Update: Please note that the following vendors are now available for lunch during the tour:

Philling Station - serving American comfort food including burgers, sandwiches and hotdogs.

Birdhouse coffee - The Birdhouse amazing bakers will have desserts including strawberry shortcake.
